Overview of the IBPS PO Course

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. IBPS conducts banking recruitment tests for IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, IBPS SO, and IBPS RRB positions (Officer Scale I, II, III, and Office Assistants). IBPS was established in 1860 and 1950 as an autonomous entity under the Societies Registration Act and Bombay Public Trust with the primary goal of developing and implementing a world-class system of staff selection for their client organizations. The IBPS recruitment exam is held once a year for each job individually.

IBPS Participating Banks.

IBPS, as we know it from its full name, is a personnel selection organization. There are 11 banks that take part in the IBPS recruiting exam. IBPS assists these banks in making fair selections for various positions such as PO, clerks, and others. During completing the IBPS application process, candidates can select various banks based on their preferences.

IBPS Interview

The IBPS interviews are conducted by the various banks depending on the results of the Mains test. The interview usually lasts at least 15-20 minutes, and the panel includes of Bank executives.

IBPS Recruitment Procedure

Applicants who want to appear in IBPS recruitment exams must apply online at the official website. The application form for IBPS will be available online only. The recruiting exam will be held in three stages, according to the IBPS selection process: preliminary, main, and interview. For the clerical role, there will be no interview round. Candidates must, however, take a language competence exam if required. For final allocation, it is necessary to meet the IBPS cut-off marks at each step.
