Overview of the LIC AAO Course

LIC AAO Recruitment 2023 was announced on January 15th, and applicants can apply online till January 31st, 2023. The Life Insurance Corporation of India has issued advertising seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Administrative Officer. AAO is a prestigious position in LIC, and applicants studying for banking and insurance industry examinations were anxiously awaiting the LIC AAO Announcement 2023. The preliminary examination is the same for all positions.

Exam Pattern for the LIC AAO 2023

Applicants seeking the position of LIC AAO must be familiar with the format of both the LIC AAO Preliminary and Main exams. The LIC AAO 2023 recruiting includes three levels, and students must pass the cut-off for each component to advance to the next phase.

  1. Preliminary: consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) for 70 points.
  2. Mains: 300 points (objective) Plus 25 points (Descriptive)
  3. 30 points for a personal interview

Marking Scheme

In both the preliminary and main exams, one mark is provided for each correct answer and 0.25 marks are removed for each erroneous response. The descriptive paper of the main test has no negative grading. Understanding the LIC AAO test pattern might help the applicant prepare for the exam in advance.
