Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional with expertise in both manual and automation testing, particularly using Selenium, to join our dedicated QA team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing processes. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our testing methodologies and the overall user experience.

Key Responsiblity

• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
• Perform manual testing to identify defects, anomalies, and usability issues in software applications.
• Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on project specifications.
• Utilize automated testing frameworks, particularly Selenium, to create and maintain automated test suites.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, report, and track bugs and issues using issue tracking tools.
• Participate in test case reviews and collaborate with developers to facilitate effective bug resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with project goals.
• Continuously monitor and analyze test results, providing valuable insights to improve software quality.
• Implement and enhance testing best practices, processes, and methodologies.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging testing technologies to drive innovation within the QA team.
• Contribute to the documentation of test plans, procedures, and results.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing technical expertise and support.

Skill & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
• Strong proficiency in manual testing techniques, test case creation, and defect reporting.
• Expertise in using Selenium for automated testing, including the creation and maintenance of test scripts.
• Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, test planning, and defect lifecycle.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) for test automation.
• Familiarity with version control systems, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of web technologies, APIs, and web services.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies is advantageous.
• Relevant testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
